Apostille is an international seal that must be affixed to Turkish documents in order for them to be accepted in Ukraine or the countries included in the Hague Convention of October 5, 1961.

Where is apostille stamped in Turkey?

In Turkey the followng bodies have the right to affix an apostille:
 Governorships (Valilik) of the relevant Turkish provinces - for a Police Clearance Certificate;
 Prefectures (Kaymakam) - for birth certificate, marriage certificate, divorce certificate, educational documents;
 Judicial authorities of Turkey - for notarial documents;

How much does an apostille stamp cost in Turkey?

An apostille can be placed on official Turkish documents only on the territory of Turkey. Affixing the apostille seal at the Turkish Embassy in Ukraine is not provided. For more information, you can go to the page Apostille abroad.
