What is the legalization procedure for?

How to perform consular legalization of birth certificates, marriage certificates, extraction of registry offices?

The birth certificate must be certified by the Department of Justice of the region where the document was issued. Then the stamp of legalization of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine is affixed to the original certificate. The certificate, already stamped, is translated into English. The translation is notarized.

The notarized translation is stamped first with the seal of the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine, then with the seal of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine. After the above actions, the document can be submitted for final legalization to the Chinese Embassy in Ukraine. The consular fee is paid.

How to perform consular legalization for the PRC - diploma, certificate?

The diploma is translated into English. A copy of the diploma and the translation are notarized. The notarized translation is stamped first with the seal of the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine, then with the seal of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine.

After the above actions, the document can be submitted for final legalization to the Chinese Embassy in Ukraine. The consular fee is paid.
