Two more countries have introduced the "Apostille" stamp and joined the Hague Convention of 1961 on Simplified Legalization of Documents. Now the "Apostille" stamp is recognized in the Republic of Guyana (Central America) and in the Republic of the Philippines.
The Republic of Guyana joined the Hague Convention on July 30, 2018, becoming the 116th country in a row to receive an apostille. The Convention enters into force on April 18, 2019.
Republic of the Philippines joined The Hague Convention in September 2018, comes into full force on May 14, 2019.
